CNLITE Africa had an outstanding presence at Mining Indaba 2025, held in Cape Town from 3–6 February. Our team connected with over 150 mining professionals, presented new performance data, and signed three new distribution agreements.
Our Presence at the Show
This year marked CNLITE Africa's third consecutive appearance at Mining Indaba, and our largest stand to date. We showcased:
- Live demonstration of the CNLITE leaching process
- New performance data from 40+ African operations
- Updated ROI calculator with real-world case study data
- Samples of both the Gold Leaching Agent and Flotation Reagent
Key Conversations and Themes
Regulatory pressure is accelerating the shift away from cyanide
The most common theme in our conversations was the growing regulatory burden of cyanide. Operations in Ghana, Tanzania, and South Africa all reported increased compliance costs and growing community opposition to cyanide use.
Recovery performance is no longer a barrier
Two years ago, the most common objection to CNLITE was uncertainty about recovery performance. This year, that conversation has largely shifted — most visitors were already convinced on performance and were focused on logistics, pricing, and transition planning.
Heap leach operators are the fastest movers
Heap leach operations showed the strongest interest in switching, driven by the elimination of detoxification costs and simplified tailings management.
New Partnerships Announced
At Mining Indaba, we announced three new distribution partnerships:
- DRC: Kinshasa Mining Supplies
- Mali: Bamako Mineral Resources
- Senegal: Dakar Mining Solutions
What's Next
Following the strong interest at Mining Indaba, we are expanding our technical team to handle increased demand for on-site trials and consultations. We expect to complete 25+ new operation trials in 2025.
