Born from a Need for Safer Gold Mining in Africa
CNLITE Africa was founded by a team of Zimbabwean mining professionals who had spent careers working with sodium cyanide — and had seen first-hand the environmental damage, safety incidents, and regulatory burden it creates for African operations.
When CNLITE's eco-friendly gold leaching agent technology emerged from China with proven results, we recognised an opportunity to bring it to the region. After two years of rigorous product trials and technical validation, we were formally appointed by CNLITE (China) as the exclusive authorised distributor for Zimbabwe and Sub-Southern Africa in 2018.
Today, CNLITE Africa supplies reagents to over 40 mine operations across 20 countries — from artisanal miners in West Africa to large-scale CIL plants in South Africa. Our mission remains unchanged: to make gold mining safer, cleaner, and more profitable for every African producer.
